I'm so excited to announce that my very new addition to the 1 Puddle Lane ladies range.....The Blossom Party Dress.......is now available to order!
My lovely friend, Dee, looks fabulous modelling her new Blossom Party Dress
I thought about the price extensively and didn't know which way to go so I have 3 prices for you to choose from to help you out.

1. FULL CUSTOM MADE - $150 - you will receive a Blossom Party Dress made to fit you. Along with choosing the style and fabric you'll need to fill in a measurement form. Which I will send to you after you place your order. I can also help you with choosing fabrics that will suit your colouring! In other words, I work with you all the way to make sure you get a beautiful dress that you are happy with.

2. PART CUSTOM MADE - $120 - if you don't quite fit the standard size and you just want either the waist smaller or bigger or the bust smaller or bigger the length of the skirt shorter or longer. This service will be covered in this price. I can also help you with choosing fabrics that will suit your colouring!

3. STOCK SIZES - $105 - these will be dresses made from standard sizes ranging from size 8 to size 18. Below you'll find a sizing chart to compare your measurements to. If the measurements are right for you.....fantastic. Easy peasy! You're done and good to go. All you need to do is choose your fabrics.

Loving my new iPhone

Have iPhone will travel!  Right?  Have you got an iPhone.......do you love it as much as I do?  I'm a bit of an Apple groupie at the moment.  I love my iMac, Macbook, iPad and now my new iPhone.  I often say that if there was an Apple Church I would go every Sunday.

I'm finding I'm rediscovering my home and my neighbourhood through the lens of my phone AND instagram.  And really enjoying it!

So I decided to take a few pics and I thought what a better subject than the other item I'm absolutely loving at the moment.  My Blossom Party Dress.  So I thought I'd take you on a small journey of the making of my favourite dress.  Did I mention I have 5 of these in my wardrobe now and wear them everywhere!

Enjoying the fruits of my labour AND hubby took me out to dinner!
My Blossom Party Dress will be made available to order on Wednesday 1st February and I have a little sweetener to add to the mix, but you'll have to wait till Wednesday to find out more.

Until then pop on over the my facebook page and check out the styles and fabric selections.  I know I want 1 of each!!

Exciting New Year for 1 Puddle Lane

Good morning lovely ladies,

Well another year has started at the home of 1 Puddle Lane.  There is always lots of celebrating done here at the start of the year.  Not only with Christmas and New Year being 1 week apart......my birthday is then 1 week after New Year and that usually lasts for a week.   So I'm still celebrating my birthday this week but come next Monday,16th 1 Puddle Lane will be open for custom orders again.

In between all the celebrating this week I hope to work on organising and cleaning out my office area and sewing room and getting it ready for my new ranges.

I'm really excited with my plans for 1 Puddle Lane this year.  I'll be working on loads of samples over the next few weeks for a new girls range, a very handsome boys wear range, more ladies skirts and I'm working on bringing out a ladies dress which is just gorgeous.  I'll give you sneak peeks on as I get them done.

All these gorgeous new designs will have to be showcased somewhere so I'm very happy to say I'm getting a new website too.  I'm hoping it will be done in the next month but I will keep you up to date on when it will go live.  And I'll be sending out my newsletter every month with info on what's coming up and items on sale.  So enter your details to the right of this post if you would like to join in the fun.

I hope you all had a lovely Christmas and New Year and still enjoying the holidays with your kids.

Do you have a New Years Resolution?

Do you?

I haven't had a New Years resolution for years as I didn't believe in them and, well, they didn't last long.  So, what happened this New Years to change my mind?  Well, everyone was talking about their New Years resolutions and I thought "Nup, not for me" probably because I didn't know what I wanted to change as I was happy with how things were or so I thought!

It wasn't until the last day of the year that I had an epiphany.  I had just one strong, loud thought.  I WANT TO BE MORE ORGANISED AND NOT SO LAZY THIS YEAR!  I got so excited with this that I instantly had ideas and energy to boot.  My kids thought I was on something I'm sure!  But it was so strong and felt good I went with it.

So, how have I started to be more organised and less lazy?  First, I not only wrote my Business Goals for the year but also my Personal Goals for the year too!  I found my newest best friend....courtesy of my hubby, who is also my best friend......that could help me with this.  WorkFlowy  Unbelievable is all I can say!  Go check it out!  It's a simple list creation.

Next, to stop myself getting lazy I decided to do things differently to how I did them last year and that was to do them more deliberate and slowly...... as last year I'd go bull-at-a-gate and completely exhaust myself and then I'd get lazy and not want to complete the job.

And I've decided to enjoy everything I do this year and be more mindful of what I do and to slow it down.  Yes, that includes enjoying the washing, cleaning, cooking and really make friends with them.  So the first challenge on my list was to start with the garden.  I knew I had a big job ahead of me.  My challenge was to tidy up the garden and rip out all the ferns and to declutter the garden.  So I pulled out each clump of fern bit by bit and only focused on my task at hand and before I knew it I had it done in 3 days.  But I would only do it at the coolest part of the day and only for a few hours each day with lots of rests along the way.  But I got there.  I'm so proud of the work I accomplished and it's spurred me on to tackle the inside of the house.  To declutter and to repaint ahhh!  I know I can do it! Just do it step by step!

Ta da!!!!
I've also started a herb garden.....but there's not much to see there.  It's just dirt in a pot at the moment!

Now it's your turn!  What wonderful and exciting goals do you have for yourself this year?
