1 Puddle Lane at the newest market - The Butterfly Tree - Gold Coast

Hello everyone,

We had another successful market day on the Gold Coast this time at the new Butterfly Tree market.  From our stall we overlooked the terrace outside where there were tables and chairs set up to relax and have coffee and beyond that was a beautiful lake and in the distance the tall city skyline of the Gold Coast and of course it was a beautiful balmy day.  There were lots of stall holders selling their exquisite wares.  Some of my favs of the day were Mel from Pirouette Petti Couture, Lyn from Lynnz Atrisan Soaps and Candles where I bought some very delicious soaps and candles.

We sold quite a bit of stock and, as I thought, a lot of the summer range was very welcomed by the Gold Coast people.  I sold a few boys shorts as well, which was great.  It was wonderful to cater for the neglected area of boys wear.

I caught up with my stunningly gorgeous daughter, Kate, who helped me out at the stall. I made her a little 1 Puddle Lane dress which was a great hit as another stall owner now wants one for her 9 year old daughter.

My good friend who lives on the coast, Debbie and her mum, came by to offer support and a chat.  Also, my good friend Rae who has been coming to all the markets with me made the trek down to the coast for another day full of fun and giggles. 

But of course I have to thank my wonderful hubby, Tony, for his endless energy and support and encouragement. 

So now I'm getting stock organised for the upcoming Mathilda's Market in Brisbane on 14th August.  I hope I see some of you there.
